Paediatric Neurology
John has extensive experience in helping children with brain disorders. The major interest and world-standard expertise is in all aspects of the diagnosis and management of young people with EPILEPSY. Particular focus is in diagnosis with EEG and MRI, new treatments including medicinal cannabis, comprehensive medical and surgical evaluation and Tuberous Sclerosis.
As a general child neurologist, i have had 20 years+ experience in assisting children with cerebral palsy, complex headache, movement disorders, immune disorders of the brain and intellectual disability. Young people with suspected nerve and muscle disorders, chronic headache, primary learning and behavioural disorders (eg ADHD) are best managed by other specialists.
